The 30-jewel exclusive WM Grand Prix Automatic Chronograph is a mechanical automatic chronograph that utilizes a modern automatic self-winding mechanism, meaning this watch never needs batteries and never needs to be manually wound. It’s powered solely by the movement of the wrist. What is more, the workings of the fascinating mechanism can be seen through the mineral crystal glass back.
The main dial of the WM Grand Prix Automatic Chronograph is made in genuine carbon fibre with a practical calendar at 4 o’clock. The face has three separate smaller dials: one displays the seconds, another the chrono-time elapsed in minutes (and up to 30 minutes) and the third dial measures the chrono-time elapsed in hours. Additionally, the WM Grand Prix Automatic Chronograph has a scaled tachymeter, particularly useful for accurately timing moving vehicles.
The watch hands and hour dots are luminous to allow you to see the time in complete darkness.
Titanium is a very expensive and highly valued metal used extensively in ultra high-tech industries such as aviation, space exploration, the manufacture of missiles and medical research. Some of its most important characteristics are that it is very light, very durable and very resistant to corrosion, especially against commonly occurring material such as salt water. It is particularly important for aerospace design as it is capable of withstanding the extreme cold and heat of space travel. Within medical research, its resistance and inertness to many acids make it a vital material
